Badgeville, the online gamification and social loyalty software provider, has scored $12M in a Series B funding. The new funding was led by Norwest Venture Partners and El Dorado Ventures, and also included Trinity Ventures and the Webb Investment Network. Badgeville, which is headed by Kris Duggan, said it will use the funding to build out its team and scale its offerings. The firm's customers now include Discovery Communications, NBC, Bluefly.com, Interscope Records, Major League Gaming, LiveMocha, The Active Network, and Deloitte Digital.
