Vocera Communications Files For IPO
San Jose-based Vocera Communications, a developer of mobile communications products for the healthcare industry, said in a filing Monday evening that it is looking to raise up to $80M in an IPO. The firm said it has applied to list as VCRA on the New York Stock Exchange. The firm's IPO is being underwritten by J.P. Morgan, Piper Jaffray, Baird, William Blair & Company, and Morgan Keegan. Vocera is venture backed by Venrock, Vanguard Ventures, RRE Ventures, GGV Capital, and Thomas Weisel Venture Partners. Vocera is run by Robert J. Zollars.
