Vocera Lands Venture Round
Cupertino-based Vocera, a firm developing a system that allows workers to communicate wirelessly with a wearable badge, has received an investment from Motorola. Motorola said today that it has made an undisclosed equity investment in the firm. Vocera's systems are being targeted at hospitals, hotels, libraries, and retail stores as a way for workers to communicate quickly.
