Taptera Gets $2M For Enterprise iOS Apps
San Francisco-based Taptera, a developer of enterprise, mobile applications for the iPhone and iPad, said this morning that it has raised $2M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Terence Garnett, Salesforce.com, M.R. Rangaswami, and David Murphy, among other angel investors. Garnett joins the company's board as part of the funding. Taptera develops enterprise-focused, iPad and iPhone apps, with its first offering a mobile employee directory app caled Colleagues. The firm is led by Chris O'Connor, who was previously at Genentech.
