Embrane Gets $18M
Santa Clara-based Embrane, which develops cloud computing software, said Thursday that it has raised $18M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by New Enterprise Associates, and also included Lightspeed Venture Partners and North Bridge Ventures. Embrane is led by Dante Malagrino. The firm's software is used to provision cloud-based, network services for virtualized and cloud computing.
