Embrane Acquired By Cisco
Santa Clara-based Embrane, a developer of cloud computing deployment software has been acquired by Cisco, the companies said this week. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Cisco said Embrane becomes part of its Insieme Business Unit. Embrane was venture backed by Cisco Corp., Lightspeed Ventures, New Enterprise Associates, North Bridge Venture Partners, and Presidio Venture Partners.
