San Francisco-based Gild, an online site focused on helping software developers improve their skills, said Wednesday that it has acquired Coderloop, a site which provides fully automated code evaluation and scoring. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Gild said the buy will help it enhance its service, which helps software developers improve their skills via "coding puzzles". Gild is venture backed by Globespan Capital Partners.
