Quantance Ups Funding By $11M
Sunnyvale-based Quantance, the developer of power management chips for the 4G wireless market, reported today that it has raised $11M in a Series C funding round. The round included prior investors TD Fund, Granite Ventures, InterWest Partners and DoCoMo Capital. The firm has now raised around $29.5M in funding. Qantance, which is led by Vikas Vinayak, said it will use the funding to expand its product line, plus grow its employees by at least 50 percent this year.
