Quantance Names Engineering VP
San Mateo-based Quantance, a developer of RF and wireless semiconductors, said that it has named Lon Christensen as the firm's Vice President of Engineering. Christensen joins the firm from Spreadtrum Communications, where he was CTo and VP for RFIC. He has also served at Quorum Systems, where he was a co-founder, as well as national Semiconductor, Solectek, and Torrey Science Corporation. Quantance is venture backed by Camp Ventures, DOCOMO Capital, Granite Ventures, Interwest Partners, and TD Fund.
