McAfee Scoops Up NitroSecurity
Santa Clara-based-based McAfee is buying NitroSecurity, a venture backed provider of security information and event management software, the firm said this morning. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to McAfee, the buy will help expand its risk and compliance, plus global threat intelligence capabilities. NitroSecurity was backed by Brookline Venture Partners, First Analysis, as well as others.
