McAfee Completes Acquisition of SafeBoot
Santa Clara-based McAfee said earlier this week that it has completed its acquisition of SafeBoot Holding B.V., in a deal worth approximately $350M in cash. SafeBoot provides encryption software used for endpoint protection, including laptops, PDAs, and other mobile devices. The deal was originally announced October 9th. McAfee said the SafeBoot technology will be integrated into its McAfee EPO product.
