Google Grabs SocialGrapple
Mountain View-based Google has acquired SocialGrapple, a developer of a service to track the mention of brands and keywords in Twitter. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. SocialGrapple, on its site, said that its team will be joining Google, but did not give any details on the fate of the service. SocialGrapple was created by Andrey Petrov.
