Citrix Buys ShareFile
Santa Clara-based Citrix said this morning that it has acquired ShareFile, a provider of cloud based data storage and sharing services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. ShareFile provides a cloud-based, document sharing platform used by users to more easily share business documents with others. Citrix said the buy will bulster its cloud data offerings. ShareFile CEO Jesse Lipson becomes Vice President and General Manager of a new Data Sharing group at Citrix.
