BlueStacks, which develops software which allows Windows machines to run Android apps, said Thursday that it has closed a strategic round of funding. The firm said the new fund brings its total raised to $14M. The firm had announced a Series A funding in May, worth $7.6M. The firm said that strategic investors in the round included AMD, Citrix Systems, and others. The firm's other investors include Andreessen Horowitz Fund, Helion Venture Partners, Ignition Partners, Radar Partners, and Redpoint Ventures. The firm's CEO is Rosen Sharma.
