San Francisco-based Scripted.com, a new online marketplace for freelance writers, said today that it has raised $700,000 in a seed financing round. The round came from Crosslink Capital, Douglas Feirstein (Liveops), and Jody Mulkey (Shopzilla). Scripted.com is an online site which allows businesses to pay writers to develop blog posts and Twitter mentions; the site is a spinout of Scripped.com, which is headed by Sunil Rajaraman.
