MergerTech Capital Launches $50M Healthcare IT Fund

MergerTech Capital
said this morning that it has launched a $50M, venture fund aimed at healthcare IT investments. The new fund is headed by Maneesh Goyal, previously a venture capitalists at Miramar Venture Partners. According to MergerTech Advisors, the investment banking firm behind MergerTech Capital, the fund will focus on healthcare IT product and services firms, particularly in early and growth stage, U.S. companies. Nitin Khanna and Karan Khanna of MergerTech Advisors will also help to manage the fund.
