Affinity Circles Acquired By Climber.com
Sunnyvale-based Affinity Circles, which operates an online private social networking stie for alumni and student groups, professional trade associations and sports teams, has been acquired by Climber.com. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Climber.com, which is operated by Mingle LLC, offers an online site for networking with job recruiters. Affinity Circles originally started in 2002, to help Stanford University students stay in touch with friends and colleagues.
