San Mateo-based Edmodo, a startup providing free web pages for teachers and classrooms in K-12 schools, said today that it has raised $15M in a Series B round. The round came from Greylock Partners and Benchmark Capital. Reid Hoffman of Greylock joins the company's board, along with Matt Cohler of Benchmark Capital. Edmodo has also scored investment from Union Square Ventures and Learn Capital. Edmodo develops software which allows teachers to post assignments, manage projects, conduct quizzes, and more.
