NexTag Acquires FanSnap
San Mateo-based comparison shopping site Nextag is expanding into the event ticket search area, saying this morning that it has acquired Palo Alto-based FanSnap. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. THe two said that FanSnap will relocate its team to San Mateo. FanSnap was venture backed by General Catalyst Partners and Highland Capital, and had raised over $10.5M in funding. FanSnap's site allows users to search for event tickets, from both ticket providers and resellers.
