Intel Capital Invests In Brazilian Healthcare Tech
Intel Capital
said today that it has made its first, Latin American health IT investment, in Brazilian firm
Pixeon
. Pixeon develops medical imaging software, which provides digital management and processing of medical images. Size of the investment round was not disclosed. Intel said Pixeon will use the funding for sales and marketing. Intel's investments in Latin America are haded by Dave Thomas, Managing Director, Intel Capital Latin America.
