Varentec Gets $7.7M
San Jose-based Varentec, which is developing smart grid control products, said today that it has raised $7.7M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Khosla Ventures. As part of the funding, the company said it has named Dr. Deepak Divan as President and CTO. The firm said that Divan has over 35 years of experience in the field.
