Varentec Snags Series C
Santa Clara-based Varentec, a developer of software used by utilities to better improve grid efficiency and control, has raised a Series C funding round, the company said on Wednesday. Size of the funding was not announced. The funding came from 3M Ventures, Bill Gates, and Khosla Ventures. The company said the funding goes towards international activities and continued development of its products. Varentec is led by Guillaume Dufosse.
