Extole Gets $10M
San Francisco-based Extole, a develoepr of social marketing programs and technology, announced today that it has raised $10M in a Series C round. The round was led by Shasta Ventures, and also included Norwest Venture Partners, Redpoint Ventures, and Trident Capital. The company said the new round brings its total raised to $22M. Extole said the investment from Shasta Ventures comes courtesy Jim Barnett, who recently joined Shasta, but has been Chairman of its board since 2009. Extole's COE is Brad Klaus.
