Critical Path has acquired San Mateo-based
Laszlo Systems, a developer of interactive web application software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Critical Path said the buy would allow it to deliver a unified application platform integrating a wide range of messaging, IM, voice, video, media and social services for the business and consumer markets. Laszlo Systems had been venture backed by General Catalyst Partners, Mitsui & Co, Sofinnova Ventures, and WI Harper Group.
