San Mateo-based StormPath, a developer of unified identity management software for the enterprise, said last week that it has raised $1.5M in a seed funding round. The round was led by Flybridge Capital and New Enterprise Associates. StormPath also said it is launching into a private beta of its service, which it bills as "One Security Console To Rule Them All." Stormpath was co-founded by Les Hazlewood and Alex Salazar; the firm's technology is based on open source project Apache Shiro.
