San Mateo-based
StormPath, the developer of user authentication and management software for app developers, said tihs morning that it has raised $8.2M in a Series A financing round. The round was led by New Enterprise Associates and Pelion Ventures and also included Flybridge Capital Partners. StormPath, which is led by Alex Salazar, develops tools used by mobile app developers to manage and handle user authentication and management. The funding comes on top of an earlier, seed funding from NEA and Flybridge, and an angel round led by Andy Rachleff, co-founder of Benchmark Capital and CEO at WealthFront.
