Zynga Buys OMGPOP For $200M, Say Reports
San Francisco-based social gaming firm Zynga has acquired OMGPOP, the developer of the popular mobile game Draw Something, in a deal worth $200M, according to multiple reports Wednesday morning. OMGPOP is based in New York, had raised around $16M in funding from Bessemer Venture Partners, Betaworks, Rho Ventures, SoftBank Capital, and Spark Capital.
