Pertino, a developer of cloud networking software, said this morning that it has raised $8.85M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Norwest Venture Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, as well as Steve Cambell (Stratacom), Joe Graziano (Apple, Sun Microsystems), Rob Ryan (Ascend Communications), Peter Wagner (Accel Partners), Guarav Garg (Sequoia Ventures), and Jeffrey Drazan (Bertram Capital). The firm was ofunded by Craig Elliott, the former CEO of Packeteer and Gm of Apple's international internet and online services efforts.
