Cisco Funds Insieme With $100M
San Jose-based Cisco is spinning out a new startup, Insieme, backed with $100M in funding, according to a memo leaked to the New York Times this week. Cisco apparently has funded the advanced networking startup, with an option to eventually buy back Insieme for as much as $750M. Insieme was founded by three Cisco employees.
