Aquantia Connects With $35M
Milpitas-based Aquantia, which develops high speed, Ethernet PHY semiconductors for the 10GBASE-T market, has raised $35M in a Series F funding, the firm said today. The round came from RUSNANO, along with current investors. Aquantaia said that, as part of the deal, it will estabilish a new design center in Russia, which will provide chip design, software development, and product testing for the company's chips. RUSNANO invested $25M in the round, with the remainder from the firm's prior and some new backers.
