TrustedID, which provides credit and identity protection services, said today that it has acquired
Catalog Choice, the operator of a mail preference service which makes it easier for consumers to opt out of unwanted catalogs and mail. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. TrustedID, which is venture backed by Opus Capital and Draper Fisher Jurvetson, said the move is part of a rapid expansion of its products. The acquisition is at least the third for the company, which also has purchased Reppler and Unsubscribe.com, two other related businesses, in the last six months.
