Bromium Takes $26.5M for Virtualization Technology
Cupertino-based Bromium said Wednesday that it has raised $26.5M in a Series b funding round, from Highland Capital Partners, Intel Capital, as well as Andreessen Horowitz and Ignition Ventures. The firm, led by Guarav Banga, is using virtualization techniques to better isolate applications running within an operating system or PC, which helps protect those PCs from security threats and malware.
