PLUMgrid Takes $10.7M
Sunnyvale-based PLUMgrid, a developer of network virtualization technology, said this morning that it has raised $10.7M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Hummer Winblad and US Venture Partners. PLUMgrid, which is headed by Awais Nemat, said it is working on network virtualization and software-defined networking concepts. Lars Leckie of Hummer Winblad, and Chris Rust of USVP sit on the firm's board. The firm said it has now raised a total of $12.7M.
