Rocket Fuel, a provider of online advertising technology, said this morning that it has raised $50M in a funding round. The round was led by Northgate Capital, and also included Summit Partners, Cross Creek Capital, Nokia Growth Capital, and Mohr Davidow Ventures. Rocket Fuel said it will use the funding to accelerate growth, including expanding international markets andto invest in hiring, technology, and business development. The firm said the funding brings its total raised to $76M. The firm said its revenues in 2011 were more than $45M. Rocket Fuel is headed by George John.
