Mailgun Acquired By Rackspace
San Francisco-based Mailgun, the developer of a cloud-based, email services API, has been acquired by cloud hosting firm Rackspace Hosting. Financial terms of the acquisition have not been announced. Mailgun was a Y Combinator startup, and provides application programming interfaces (APIs) used by developers to manage sending and receiving email from their applications and websites. Ev Kontsevoy is the CEO and founder of Mailgun.
