Aerohive Networks,which develops enterprise Wi-fi networking products, said yesterday that it has raised $22.5M in a mezzanine equity financing round. The round was led by Institutional Venture Partners, and also included Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB), Lightspeed Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Northern Light and Four Rivers. The firm said the funding will go towards product development and other uses. Aerohive's products incude wireless routers, access points, and software. The firm is run by David Flynn.
