Ambarella Up Slightly In IPO
Santa Clara-based Ambarella, which develops video processing systems-on-a-chip (SoC) technology, was up slightly in its IPO Wednesday, after pricing at $6 per share, below its initial offering range of $9 to $11. The firm debuted on the NASDAQ as AMBA this morning. Ambarella is venture backed by Benchmark Capital, Walden International, Matrix Partners, as well as others; the company develops semiconductor used for high definition video capture and display.
