Validity Sensors, a developer of fingerprint sensors and technology, said Thursday that it has raised $20M in a Series E funding round. The round was led by TeleSoft Partners, and also included prior investors Crosslink Capital, Panorama Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, and Venture Tech Associates. The firm said the first close of $10M in the round occurred on October 4th. Validity develops fingerprint sensor technology being incorporated into PCs, tablets, and mobile phones. The company's CEO is Rob Baxter.
