AppDynamics Snags $50M
San Francisco-based AppDynamics, the developer of application performance management software, said today that it has raised $50M in a Series D round. The growth funding was led by new investor Institutional Venture Partners, and also included prior investors Greylock Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and Lightspeed Venture Partners. AppDynamics, which is headed by Jyoti Bansal, said it will use the funding for expansion into the global enterprise market, for increased investment in R&D, and to accelerate hiring. The firm has now raised $86.5M in funding.
