has acquired
Channel Intelligence
, a developer of software and services which helps companies list their products in Google Shopping and other similar online shopping sites. The deal was worth $125M. Channel Intelligence was based in Celebration, Florida, and was backed by such investors as ICG Group. Channel Intelligence provides software to link online browsers of product information to local and online stores; helps populate products in online shopping engines; and also offers other, related services.
