Sophia Search Snags $3.7M For Semantic Software
San Jose-based Sophia Search has snagged $3.7M in a Series A round, the company announced this morning. The firm said the investment round was led by Atlantic Bridge Ventures. Sophia Search develops semantic analysis software used to understand the context and content of web content, to better match that to online advertisers. The firm is led by David Patterson. According to Sophia Search, the new funds will go towards marketing and sales in North America, as well as to accelerate its product rollout.
