DeveloperAuction Wins $2.7M
San Francisco-based DeveloperAuction, which operates an online site which lets software developers auction themselves off to the highest bidder, said today that it has raised $2.7M in a first round investment. The round was led by New Enterprise Assocaites and Sierra Ventures, and also included Crosslink Capital, Google Ventures, SoftTech VC, and Step Partners. DeveloperAuction runs a two week auction cycle which lets software developers get bids for their talent from venture backed startups; users can then pick which companies they'd like to interview with, based on those job offers.
