San Jose-based
PernixData said yesterday that it has raised $20M, in a Series B funding round. The developer of a software-defined, flash-based storage platform, said the round was oversubscribed, and was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, along with Lightspeed Venture Parnters, Mark Leslie, John Thompson and Lane Bess. Matt Murphy of KPCB joins the firm with the funding.
