DAQRI Lands $15M For Augmented Reality
Daqri
, which develops augmented reality technology, said this morning that it has raised $15M in a private equity funding. The firm, which has its R&D location in Sunnyvale, said that the funding came from Tarsadia Investments. Daqri's technology is used to provide interactivity to physical objects, allowing users to interact with the real world through a tablet or mobile phone. Troy Carter of Atom Factory joins the company's board with the funding. Daqri's headquarters are in Los Angeles.
