Meta, which develops wearable glasses which provide augmented reality interaction, disclosed last week that it had raised $23M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Horizons Ventures, BOE Optoelectronics, plus Tim Draper, Garry Tan, Alexis Ohanian, plus Danhua Capital, Commodore Partners and Vegas Tech Fund. The company's glasses are geared at allowing users to manipulate an augmented reality user interface with their hands, while interacting with the real world.
