SynapDx Taps Into Funding From Google For Autism Testing
SynapDX, which is developing blood test to enable diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), has raised $15.4M in funding, led by Google Ventures. According to SynapDx, the funding also included North Bridge Venture Partners and General Catalyst Partners. SynapDX said its test is aimed at diagnosing pediatric neurodevelopmental disorders. Google's Andrew COnrad, Ph.D., joins the company's board of directors with the funding. SynapDx is based in Lexington, Mass.
