Optimus Outcome Buys Autism Acumen
San Mateo-based Optimus Outcome, a provider of services and technology around managing autism, has acquired San Francisco-based Autism Acumen, a developer of video-based tools for managing chronic neurological disorders. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Jessica Owens, founder and CEO of Acumen, joins Optimus as part of the acquisition, with TPG Biotech's Fred Cohen joining as an advisor of Optimus Outcome. Optimus Outcome is led by Jonathan Wright.
