Looker Gets $16M For Business Intelligence Tools

Santa Cruz-based Looker, a developer of business intelligence software, announced today that it has raised $16M in a Series A funding. The round was led by Redpoint Ventures, and also included First Round Capital and prior seed investors. As part of the funding, Tomasz Tunguz of Redpoint has joined the company's board. Looker's business inteligence software is aimed at letting customers drill into their terabyte-scale datasets.
