Looker Locks Into $2M
Santa Cruz-based Looker Data Sciences, a developer of business intelligence query software, said Thursday that it has raised $2M in a funding round. The funding was led by First Round Capital and PivotNorth Capital. The firm said it is looking to make it easier for users to run business intelligence queries, allowing anyone in an organization to create and use their own business intelligence queries. The firm is led by Lloyd Tabb, who was formerly Principal Engineer at Netscape and former CTO of LiveOps.
