trueAnthem, a developer of tools for tracking social influence, has raised $2.6M in a funding round, the company announced this morning. The funding came from CrunchFund, Core Ventures Group, and other private investors. TrueAnthem, led by Chris Hart, develops tools to help brands, publishers, and advertisers track social influencers. The firm had originally been focused on widgets for helping bands to distribute their music alongside advertising.
